Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The Lehman College women's soccer team fell to Brooklyn College, 6-0, on Wednesday afternoon, on the road, in a non-conference matchup.

The Lightning (6-6, 1-2 CUNYAC) began the game sluggish, as Lehman gave up five goals in the first half.

Sophomore goalkeeper Melanie Varillas (New Rochelle, N.Y. /New Rochelle) prevented a bigger margin as she stopped 13 shots.

The Lightning will now have a long rest and will not be back in action until Saturday, October 12, when Lehman travels to John Jay for a key CUNYAC contest. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
