BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to visiting Purchase College on Monday afternoon, in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's team.  Lehman drops to 4-3, while Purchase improves to 1-5.

In goal, sophomore Melanie Varillas (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) made eleven saves, including several acrobatic stops.

Up next for Lehman is the CUNYAC opener, when the College of Staten Island travels to the Bronx on Wednesday, September 18, for a 7:00 p.m. start.
