ALLENTOWN, Penn. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team defeated host Cedar Crest, 3-1, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. Set scores were 25-20, 16-25, 25-23, and 25-18.

Senior outside hitter Julia Mercado (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) led the way for the Lightning on offense with 11 kills. Classmate Cari English dominated both offensively and defensively with 10 kills, five solo blocks, and three digs. Freshman outside hitter Lindsay Pantaleon (New York, N.Y./George Washington) had four service aces while junior setter Imani Dubois (West Palm Beach, Fla./J.P. Taravella) added three of her own and had a team-high 20 assists.

The Lightning will travel to the College of Staten Island on Monday, for a CUNY Athletic Conference Multi-Match. Lehman will take on Hunter at 10:00 a.m., and then battle York at 12:00 p.m.
