Volleyball Drops a Pair at Kings Point Invitational

Kings Point, N.Y. - The Lehman (8-11) volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the final day of the Kings Point Invitational. The Lightning fell to Kean and host USMMA by the identical score of 3-0.

In the match against Kean, Jo-Marie Aquino paced the Lightning with 15 kills off of 42 attacks and 16 digs. Imani Dubois led the squad with 21 assists. Lehman fell by scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-13.

In the night cap against the USMMA, Aquino once again led Lehman with 14 kills off 56 attacks. Salveira Gonzalez registered 12 digs while Dubois was credited with 16 assists.

The Lightning look to get back to their winning ways on Wednesday night at the College of New Rochelle. Lehman will host the Maccabees of Yeshiva University at 8:00 P.M. in the Apex on Thursday.
