Jennifer Navarro tallied a 33 points, equaling her career high, to lead the Lehman (6-4) to a 72-62 non-conference victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.) (3-7).
Amani Lightbourne added 19 points and led all Lehman players with seven rebounds while
Amely Del Rosario scored 11 points.
The first quarter was a back and forth affair until Lightborne scored a fast break layup with :24 seconds remaining in the quarter to give the Lightning a 17-16 lead that they would not surrender. The Lightbourne bucket propelled Lehman on a 12-0 run. Lehman would out-score the Golden Eagles 23-8 in the second quarter to take a 40-24 lead into the locker room.
St. Joseph's outscored Lehman 23-15 in the fourth; it was the only quarter which the Lightning did not win. With 3:38 remaining Navarro hit a jumper to give the Lightning their largest lead of the night, 70-44. The Golden Eagles went on an 18-2 run to end the game.

Andrea Iavarone led the Golden Eagles with 19 points and 16 rebounds.
The Lightning will now take a couple of days off to enjoy the holidays. They will not be back in action until Tuesday, December 29. Lehman is hosting a Coaches vs Cancer Tournament on the 29
th and 30
th. The Lightning will play St. Elizabeth on Tuesday and will then be matched with either FDU–Florham or the College of New Jersey.
