Lightning Fall to Bearcats

New York, NY - Nineteen points by Amely Del Rosario was not enough as the Lightning suffered one of their worst defeats of the season falling 94-55 to Baruch(6-6:5-2).

Lehman (9-6:4-2) struggled all night trying to find the shooters touch as the Lightning only hit on 28% of their attempts (22-78). Conversely, the Bearcats were a bunch of sharpshooters as Baruch hit 34 of 58 attempts (59%).

Jennifer Navarro scored the Lightning's first five points but by then the Lightning were trailing 6-5. By the end of the quarter the Bearcats owned a 42-25 lead. The Lightning were never able to cut the deficit to single digits.

Navarro and Amani Lightbourne added 14 and 10 points respectively.

A quartet of Bearcats netted double figures. They were led by Jacqueline Kennedy's 32 points and 17 rebounds.
