Lightning Hit the Road One Last Time

Bronx, NY -  The Lehman (17-6:12-2) women's basketball will playing their second road can in less than 48 hours as they travel to CCNY (15-8:10-4) for their final regular season road contest of the season.  Friday night the Lightning got the best of the York Cardinals 95-69.  Two weeks ago, the Lightning needed over time to defeat the Beavers 83-10.  In that game, a Karrin Walker lay-up with five seconds on the clock set the game to extra time.  In the overtime, Amely Del Rosario scored six of Lehman's 10 points to secure the victory.  On the night the Bronx native netted a team high 28 points and seven assists.  Walker and Jennifer Navarro added 22 apiece. 

For the Beavers, Tiara Brown recorded a double double scoring 19 points while grabbing a team high 14 rebounds. 

Both teams will conclude the regular season on Tuesday night.  The Lightning will host Staten Island at 5:30 PM while the Beavers travel to Brooklyn to face Medgar Evers at 6:00 PM. 

Neither live stats nor live video stream will be available for the contest at CCNY.
