The Lehman College men's and women's basketball teams will both play host to Baruch College on Friday night at the APEX Gymnasium, in a pair of critical CUNYAC contests.

The games will be part of "White Out" night, and fans are encouraged to wear white to cheer on the Lightning.

First, the Lightning women play the Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. Lehman (14-6 / 9-2 CUNYAC) is currently ranked first in the conference standings, and is closing in on the number one overall seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament. Amely del Rosario leads the Lightning, having claimed three consecutive CUNYAC Player of the Week awards. The junior leads the conference in scoring at 22.3 points per game, and is tops in steals as well at 3.5.
Karrin Walker has been a double-double machine, recording eight in the last ten games.
Jennifer Navarro leads the CUNYAC in three-pointers at 3.7 per contest.
The Bearcats of Baruch (10-9 / 9-3 CUNYAC) are led by Veronica Ganzi, averaging 19.3 points per game. Jacqueline Kennedy (17.9 ppg, 12.7 rpg) is expected to match up with Walker inside, in a contest between two of the league's top post players.
