Box Score NEW YORK --- Amely Del Rosario scored a career-high 48 points as the Lehman College women's basketball team won their seventh straight game on Tuesday night, prevailing 85-61 at Hunter College at the Hunter Sportsplex in midtown Manhattan.

The Lightning of Lehman advance to 16-6 overall and 11-2 in the CUNYAC standings. Del Rosario, recipient of four consecutive conference player of the week awards, shot 15 of 25 from the floor, five of ten from behind the arc and 13-of-14 from the free throw line, all while dishing out seven assists with six steals and five rebounds. Jennifer Navarro contributed 14 points on 50 percent shooting. Karrin Walker finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double, while Amani Lightbourne finished with eight points and five steals. Collectively, Lehman shot 54 percent from the floor.

The Hawks of Hunter (8-15 / 5-10 CUNYAC) were led by Christine Patterson with 15 points. Ashley Yu added 13, while Ayanna Hudson finished with 12 points all while pulling down nine rebounds.

The Lightning never trailed, and after Hunter tied it at four in the opening minutes, Lehman was ahead for the duration, leading by as much as 27.

Del Rosario's previous career high came at home on January 20^th when she scored 39 points against the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. At press time, the junior was leading the league in scoring at 23.6 points per game.

Lehman will be back on the court on Friday when they travel to York College for a 6:00 p.m. game.
