Bronx, NY - The women's swimming and diving team heads to Manhattan to battle John Jay while both basketball teams host Brooklyn in a key conference match-up.
Action at the John Jay Pool gets underway at 6:00 pm. The Lightning are coming off a 90-57 victory over York earlier this week.
Angela Mejia got back to her winning ways with victories in the 100 and 200 yard freestyle. She also anchored the 200 yard freestyle relay to victory.
Yaidee Nieves also stood atop the podium with a first place finish in the 100 back stroke. The Lehman women enter the meet with a record of 3-7.
John Jay enters the meet with a 1-6 mark. Their sole victory came over York 11 days ago. Last Friday, in York's most recent outing they came up short against St. Joseph's (LI) 109-64.
The Lehman men's basketball squad will host Brooklyn at 5:00 pm in the APEX Main Gym. The Lightning (8-8:5-4) are coming off a loss to CCNY.
Damian Bellamy paced the Lightning with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Jean Marcial all tallied double figures.
The Bulldogs (3-15:1-8) dropped a 10 point decision at Hunter on Wednesday night. Enees Nikovic recorded his tenth double double of the season scoring 12 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. The Bulldogs are riding a ten game skid.
The Lehman women are seeking revenge from an early season loss at Brooklyn. In the first meeting between the two schools the Bulldogs came out on top 56-53.
Krystal Pearson paced the Lightning with 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Amely Del Rosario added 11 points apiece. Lehman is riding a six game winning streak and enters the contest with a record of 9-7:7-2 only one game behind Brooklyn and CSI in the CUNYAC standings. In their most recent outing, Lehman defeated CCNY 88-76.
The Brooklyn women are 12-3 overall and 9-1 in league play. In their most recent outing they defeated Hunter 58-48. Olivai Colbert and Karen Mak led the way for the Bulldogs with 17 and 15 points respectively.
