The Lehman College women's basketball team tips off the 2017-18 season tonight as they play host to the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University at 6:00 PM.
Lehman ended last season with a record of 17-9 while NJCU finished at 4-21.
The last time the two schools met on the hardwood was back on January 30, 2012. The Lightning came away with a 71-52 victory in a contest that was played at Baruch.

Eric Harrison brings back five returnees and seven newcomers in hopes of another CUNYAC title and a trip to the NCAAs. Lynda and
Lisa Fields along with
Ayanna Behagen and
Krystal Pearson will be the nucleus of the squad. The four combined for almost 50 points per game a year ago.

The Gothic Knights are very young. Their roster includes three juniors, a sophomore and a slew of freshman (8).
