After four competitive games on Thursday in the APEX on the campus of Lehman College all eight teams will once again be on the hardwood this afternoon. 

Action gets underway with the women's consolation games at Noon.  The College of Mt. St. Vincent will take on SUNY Canton in the first game of the day.  That will be followed by the women's championship contest.  Lehman will host FDU Florham.  Both the Lightning and the Devils won their games on Thursday to set up the final.  Lehman prevailed 72-62 over a gamey Canton squad.  Lillybeth Garcia paced the Lightning with 24 points.  Aliyah Dorset and Lynda Fields chipped in 21 and 12 points respectively.  Kendrea Williams and Gabrielle Harris combined for 46 points to lead the Devils over Mt. St. Vincent 69-51. 

The men's consolation will tip off at approximately 4:00 PM as Mt. St. Vincent will take on Southern Maine.  The Championship contest is scheduled to tip at 6:00 PM and will feature the host lightning that have won five straight and now stand at 7-2.  Lehman will battle SUNY POLY which downed Southern Maine 68-64.  Poly featured a balanced scoring attack as four player's tallied double figures.  Kevin Williams led the way with 22 points.  Lehman bested CMSV 84-60.  Luis Hernandez paced the Lightning with 22 points.  Mylo Mitchell netted 17 points and Ja-Zhyoun Laing, who earned his first start of the season delivered 11.
