Bronx, N.Y. – Saturday will be a busy one for the Lehman Athletics program as men's soccer returns home to face CUNYAC rival Brooklyn College. Meanwhile the volleyball squad hits the road for a pair of matches at Montclair State.
The Lightning men's soccer team opens CUNYAC play at noon on Saturday, when they host Brooklyn College on the South Field. The lads enter the game as winners of two straight and are led by
Salh Alzubidi, who has 10 points on five goals. Kick-off is slated for 12:00 PM. In their most recent outing, Lehman topped St. Joseph's (LI) 2-1. Alzubidi netted both goals but surrendered a goal late in the match for the final outcome. The Bulldogs are 1-2-2. Earlier this week, in their home opener, Brooklyn tied a NJCU 1-1. This afternoon is the conference opener for both schools.

The Lehman College women's volleyball team will travel to the Garden State for a tri-match on Saturday. They face Montclair State in the first game at 11 AM and then meet Vassar at 1 PM. The Lightning are looking for their first victory while Montclair and Vassar sport records of 4-3 and 7-2 respectively.
