Madison, N.J. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference matchup to FDU-Florham, 6-1, in a game played in Madison, New Jersey on Sunday. The team had been 2-1-1 in their previous four games, but are now 2-4-1 overall.
The Lightning got their goal in the 68
th minute.
Valeria Rojas Alingue beat the defender in the middle of the box and laced a shot past the keeper to her right. The Devils went on to win 6-1.
Pamela Sanchez and
Daniela Castro each had a shot on goal.
Rebecca Gritz turned aside six shots.
The Lehman College women's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, September 20, when they face CCNY in Manhattan at 4PM.
