Women’s Basketball Along With Swimmers and Divers Hit the Road

The women's basketball team will head to Amherst College to face the number one team in the country while the swimmers travel to Madison, NJ to face the FDU –Florham. 

The women's basketball team cruised to a 20 point victory last night downing York 69-49.  A double double by Aliyah Dorsett (11 points and 11 rebounds) and 20 points from Lynda Fields was all that was needed for the Lightning to improve to 7-6.  Amherst (12-0) remained perfect with a  49-31 victory over conference rival Trinity last night.  Emma McCarthy paced the Lord Jeffs in the defensive battle with 13 points.

The Lehman College men's and women's swim teams jump back into the pool after being off for the holidays.  Lehman will travel to Madison, NJ to battle the always tough Devils of FDU.  The Lehman men enter  today's meet with a record of 3-2 while the FDU men stand at 1-6.  On the women's side, Lightning own a 2-4 mark.  The FDU women are 2-5. 

Action from the Ferguson Recreation Center gets underway at 1 PM.
