Newark, NJ - Despite nine kills by Caitlin Vernon and eight by Franchesca Acevedo the Lightning fell 3-1 to Rutgers Newark in a non-conference volleyball match.
Lehman dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-10 before rallying to take the third 25-21. However the Raiders rallied in the fourth taking the set 25-21. The Raiders improve to 15-8 and the Lightning fall to 4-16.
Samantha Delgado recorded a team high 18 assists and Eriadna Vasquez registered 15 digs.
Lehman returns to action on Saturday as they face another NJAC squad as the William Paterson Pioneers invade the APEX at 2 PM.
