Bronx, NY – The Lightning beat the rain but lost 8-1 to the Devils of FDU (3-0) in women's tennis earlier today.

Lehman's (2-5) sole victory came at third doubles as Yohara Molineros and Leslie Juanacio teamed up to defeat their opponents 8-5.  FDU prevailed at first and second doubles Lizaveta Markouskaya and Diwa Rana lost at first doubles 8-1.  The team of Alana Bierman and Celine Figueroa fell 8-3 at second doubles.  The Devils swept the singles matches.  The most competitive match was at sixth singles at Molineros was able to extend her match to three sets.

Lehman returns to action on Thursday afternoon as they travel to Patchogue, NY to battle the Eagles of St. Joseph College.  First serve is slated for 5 PM.
