Riverdale, NY – The Lehman College men's soccer lost its regular season finale to NYU 2-0 in a match played at Gaelic Park in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. 

Both teams were feeling each other out in the first half as the match was knotted at zero after the first 45 minutes of play.  However, the Violets (11-3) got on the scoreboard just over four minutes into the second half when Santiago Huertas found the back of the net off a pass from Alexander Dano to give NYU the lead.  It was his first goal of the season.  NYU doubled their advantage three minutes from the final whistle when Oliver Kleban their leading scorer took a pass from Robert Shellow and fired it past Lehman goalkeeper Chris Mulholland.  Mulholland made seven saves on the afternoon. 

Lehman opens the CUNYAC Tournament at home on Wednesday as the three seed at 4:30 PM against an opponent to do determined.
