Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team begin its 2018-19 campaign when it hosts Marymount University at The APEX Main Gym in a non-conference match-up on Saturday at 2 pm.
This is the first Lightning-Saints meeting in almost six years as the last encounter took place on January 28, 2012, with Marymount posting a 51-48 win in Riverdale, N.Y.
The Lightning are once again under the helm of
Steven Schulman who is in his 19
th year with the team. Lehman, which captured the CUNYAC Regular Season title last season, finished with a 22-5 overall record and 15-1 in conference play. Lehman reached the 2017-18 CUNYAC Championship Final however it dropped a heartbreaking 77-75 decision to CSI.
The Lightning will be led by captain
Miguel Haboosh along with returnees
Ethan Lizarraga,
Fred Truss,
Sean Frederick and
Tommy Batista.
