Bronx, N.Y. – After playing three consecutive road games to commence the 2018-19 campaign, the Lehman College women's basketball team will play its first encounter at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday evening as it host Union College in a non-conference affair at 6 pm.
The Lightning will also be search for their first win of the season after starting 0-3. Meanwhile, the Dutchwomen are 1-1.
Lehman is coming off a 48-41 loss to Penn State-Abington during the consolation game of the Stockton University Tip-Off Tournament on November 17
th. After bouncing back to take a 39-37 lead at the end of the third quarter, the Lightning were outscored 11 to 2 in the final period for their third consecutive loss of the season. Guard
Lisa Fields led Lehman with 18 points and nine rebounds, while forward
Eriadna Vasquez had her first career double-double with 13 points and 16 boards.
Union comes into Tuesday's game after posting a 56-52 victory at home over St. John Fisher on Nov. 24
th.
