Madison, N.J. - The Lehman College baseball team collected eight hits in its 6-2 loss at Drew in the 2018 season-opener on Tuesday.  Carlo Francisco led the team with a pair of doubles.

Drew jumped out to a 5-0 lead with a run in the second and a pair each in the third and fourth.  The Lightning made it a game with two runs in the fifth.  Anthony Riley laced a one-out single to right.  Michael Zerbo followed with a base hit up the middle giving Lehman runners on first and second with just one out.  David Rodriguez singled to left-center, scoring Riley.  Zerbo was thrown out trying to go from first to third on the hit.  Francisco followed with a double down the right-field-line, plating Rodriguez.  Lehman got within 5-2.  Drew got another run to earn the 6-2 win.
