Bronx, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's tennis team edged Farmingdale State, 5-4 to record its second-straight win. The team improved to 5-4 on the season.
The Lightning won two of the three doubles flights as the pairing of Richard Williams and Jason Strudwick won 8-4. In second doubles, Michael Forte and Won Sik Park dropped just one game to prevail, 8-1.
Ahead 2-1 entering singles play, Lehman picked up three more points to win the match, 5-4. Forte won at #2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Strudwick came out ahead, 6-2, 6-1. Park also prevailed, 6-1, 6-3.
The Lehman College men's tennis team returns to action on Wednesday, April 11, when they host Western Connecticut State at 3:30 PM.
