Box Score New York, N.Y. – Lehman College women's volleyball team (1-0) opened its 2018 season opener this afternoon with 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-10) victory over hosts Yeshiva University (0-1) at Nat Holman Gymnasium.

The offense was led by Junior OH/M - Eriadana Vasquez who had six kills, seven aces and four digs in her Lightning debut.   Sophomore OH - Paulette Sepulveda also had 6 kills with four digs, while Junior MB - Caitlin Vernon added six kills and 2 blocks.

It was also the first victory for new Lehman head coach Wolfgang Lucana.

The Lightning return to action tomorrow (Saturday) with a Tri-Match at College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J.   Lehman will face CUNY rival Medgar Evers at 12 pm and then take on hosts at 2 pm.
