The Lehman College men's basketball team fell to Baruch 82-55 in a CUNYAC contest played at the ARC on the Baruch campus. The Lightning now stand at 5-9 overall and 3-4 in conference play. The Bearcats are 13-3 and a perfect 7-0 in the CUNYAC.

Isaiah Geathers led the Lightning with 16 points and Miguel Haboosh added 10.  

The Lightning jumped on top 4-0 in the early going with baskets by Raheim Grant and Geathers but the Bearcats answered with a 15-2 run to take a lead they would never surrender.  Baruch extended the lead to 36-23 at the half.

The Lightning were never able to cut the lead into single digits in the second half.  

The Lightning struggled offensively only hitting 19 of 54 (.352).  

Before the game Lehman Hall of Famer and long time Baruch College coach Ray Rankis was honored.  A banner was raised to honor the late Rankis in the ARC Arena.

Lehman returns to action on Wednesday as they host the Beavers of the CCNY.  Tip-off is slated for 7 PM.
