New York, NY - Playing without leading scorer Lisa Fields the Lightning fell to the Hunter Hawks 75-36. Lehman now stands at 1-12:1-4 while the Hawks improve to 6-8:5-1.

The Lightning took the early lead 6-5 but the Hawks would go on a 10-0 run to take a lead they would not surrender.  Hunter ended the first quarter leading 17-8. In the second quarter, the Hawks were able to extend their lead, taking a 33-21 lead at intermission. Hunter used an 18-0 the final seven minutes of the third quarter to take an insurmountable 61-27 lead.  The Hawks also outscored the Lightning 14-9 in the fourth quarter to earn a 75-36 victory. 

Khadijah Sangare and Abeeba Cheema paced Lehman with eight points apiece.  

Lehman returns to action on Wednesday night as they host CSI in another CUNYAC contest.
