Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women’s Soccer Falls to Staten Island

Staten Island, NY – The Lehman College women's soccer team were shutout Saturday afternoon by the Dolphins of Staten Island 5-0. 

CSI got on the scoreboard in the 25th minute as Amber Mitchell scored off an assist from Angye Galan.  The Dolphins doubled their advantage six minutes later as Nicole Mignone found the back of the net.  Mitchell and Mignone each tallied additional goals to extend the lead.  Crystara Valera closed out the scoring in the 73rd minute. 

Staten Island (5-5) outshot the Lightning 24-2. 

Lehman (3-9) returns to action on Wednesday night to face CUNYAC rival Brooklyn College in a contest with major play-off ramifications.  Game time is slated for 6 PM.
