Old Westbury, N.Y. – The three-game winning streak ended for the Lehman College women's soccer team after losing a 3-0 non-conference decision at College at Old Westbury on Saturday. The Lightning fall to 3-8 overall ledger, while the Panthers improve to 6-5 mark.
Forward Brianna Williams opened the scoring for Old Westbury in the 26
th minute-mark. The Panthers held the Lightning to zero shots in the first half.
In the second stanza, midfielder Britney Graham made it 2-0 for Old Westbury in the 64
th minute and defender Shauna Henderson scored off a free kick six minutes later for the home team's third tally.
The Panthers ended the game with a 14-4 overall shots advantage, while Lehman goalkeeper
Rebecca Gritz had four saves in the loss.
The Lightning return to action next weekend when they travel to take on former CUNYAC opponent College of Staten Island.
