Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team dropped a penalty kick heartbreaker, 4-3, to visiting John Jay College during the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals held at Fordham University's Jack Coffey Field on Saturday.
The encounter concluded with a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes of regulation and two sudden death overtime periods. The game was also physical one which had 32 total team fouls (Lehman-22; John Jay-10) along with five yellow cards (Lehman-2; John Jay-3) and three red cards (Lehman-2; John Jay-1).
On the penalty shootout, the defender Nicholas Towler, forward James Haddad, midfielder Michael Fernandez and goalkeeper Steven Towler scored for the Bloodhounds, with only midfielder Julien Roussel missing his attempt. The Lightning got pk tallies from defenders

Prior to the shootout and during 90-minute regulation, forward
Mubarak Ouro gave Lehman the lead in the 32
nd minute-mark, before midfielder Chris Toledo notched the equalizer with 17 minutes remaining.
The Bloodhounds, who improve to 6-10-1 record, advance to the CUNYAC Championship Final against Hunter College next weekend, while the Lightning end their campaign with an 11-4-1 ledger.
