Bronx, NY – The Lehman College men's and women's basketball squads will host the Baruch Bearcats tonight in the APEX. in their home finale. The women's game tips at 5 PM followed by the men's contest.
The Lightning women are coming off a road loss at Staten Island.
Khadijah Sangare paced the Lehman with 11 points and
Adeeba Cheema recorded her first career double double scoring 10 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Sangare along with her sister Salima as well as
Lisa Fields and
Chayenne McPherson will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony as Lehman says goodbye to four seniors who will be playing their final contest in the APEX. Lehman enters the game with a mark of 1-21:1-13. Baruch stands at 6-16-5-9 and can all but clinch a playoff spot with a victory tonight. Earlier this season the Bearcats defeated the Lightning 55-28.

The Lehman men (8-15:5-9) are coming off a 72-55 loss at CSI. The Lightning were ice cold from the field shooting 27% in the first half and could not rebound from the 20 point deficit at intermission.
Mo Idrissou paced Lehman with 14 points and seven rebounds.
Tommy Batista added 12 points. Baruch (18-5:12-2) has secured a first round bye in the upcoming CUNYAC post season tournament. In their last outing the Bearcats upended Hunter 71-50 to win their fourth in a row.
