Lightning Women Drop Season Finale at CCNY

Bronx, NY - The Lightning dropped their final game of the season, falling 91-42 to the Beaver of CCNY in a game played at Rose Hill Gymnasium on the campus of Fordham University.  Lehman ends the 2018-19 campaign with a 1-25 overall record and a 1-15 mark in the conference.  CCNY ends the regular season with a record of 15-10:10-6. 
 
Adeeba Cheema led the way for the Lightning with a career high 27 points.
 
With the game tied at three, the Beavers went on a 16-0 run to take control of the contest and never looked back.  By the end of the first quarter the Beavers opened up a 16 point advantage 29-13.  CCNY was able to lengthen their lead as they outscore the Lightning in each quarter. 

Debra Chen led City with 28 points.  With the victory the Beavers secure the fourth seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Tournament and will take on John Jay in the opening round.
