Lightning Falter at Cairn Tri-Match


Langhorne, PA – The Lehman College men's volleyball (3-20) team fell to both Cairn and Ramapo in a tri-match hosted by the Cairn Highlanders in Langehorn, PA. 

In the opener against the hosts, Lehman fell by scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-9.  The Lightning offense was led by Will Eshenbch and George Montilla who each recorded six kills.  Jayson Rodriguez led the squad with 10 assists and nine digs. 

In the match with Ramapo, the Roadrunners prevailed 25-12, 25-11 and 25-19.  Once again Eschenbach and Montilla led the way with six kills apiece.  Rodriguez was tops on the squad with 12 assists and Eschenbach registered seven digs.

Lehman returns to action on Tuesday, for their final CUNYAC and home match of the season.  The Lightning will recognize the seniors on the squad in a pre-match ceremony.  First serve against the Hunter Hawks is scheduled for 6 PM.
