Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team fell at home, 9-0, to defending CUNYAC champion Baruch College in a conference match-up at The APEX courts on Thursday.
The Lightning drop to 0-8 record and 0-4 in CUNYAC, while the Bearcats improve to 5-4 ledger and 3-0 in conference play.
Despite being shutout in all its singles matches, Lehman did avoid a complete blanking during the doubles as the #2 pair of
Michael Herrera and
Arman Hossain won a game as they fell overall 8-1.
With a couple of conference matches remaining in the season, the Lightning will aim for their first victory as it will also secured them a berth into the postseason when they hosts winless York College-NY on Saturday at noon.
