Queens, NY – The Lehman College (8-12:3-0) softball team remained unbeaten in conference play blanking York (0-11:0-7) 21-0 before the rain came and postponed game two. 

Diamond Villegas went the distance and picking up her sixth victory of the year striking out 13 and surrendering only two hits. The Lightning scored seven in the first and five in the second putting the game out of reach with nine runs in the fourth. 

Stephany Cruz went 2 – 4 with five RBI and three runs scored.  Villegas added two hits with a pair of RBI and three runs scored.  Marina Delgado added a pair of hits. 

Game two was rained out and a make-up date has yet to be confirmed.
