Lightning Drop Twin-Bill To CSI

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team concluded the regular season dropping both games of its home doubleheader to conference rival College of Staten Island (CSI) on Wednesday at South Field.  The Lightning go to 13-18 overall ledger and 8-4 in CUNYAC, while Dolphins improve to 15-15 mark and 10-2 in conference play.

CSI won the opener 7-0 as Lehman was limited to just four hits and stranded six runners on base.  Catcher Caitlin Vernon led the offense for the Lightning going 2-for-3.
