Bronx, NY – The Lehman College (4-3:0-1) women's tennis team dropped their conference opener to Baruch (3-1:1-0) 8-1 earlier today on the APEX Courts. 
The Lightning lone point came at second singles as Diwa Rana topped her opponent 6-3, 6-4. 

The other close singles match occurred in the sixth hole as CIen Estuye fell short 6-3, 6-4.  The closest doubles match of the afternoon was in the three spot where Joanna Rosario and Leslie Juanacio came up short 8-6. 

The Lightning return to action on Tuesday night to face another tough CUNYAC foe in John Jay.  First serve from the National Tennis Center in Flushing is scheduled for 7 PM.
