Bronx, N.Y. – For a second consecutive time this season, the Lehman College women's soccer team came out on the winning end after posting a 2:0 shut out over visiting CCNY in a CUNYAC encounter on Wednesday evening at South Field. The Lightning improve to 2-6 overall record and 2-0 in CUNYAC, while the Beavers drop to 3-5 mark and 0-1 in conference play.

In the second half, the Lightning made it 2-0 when Canapa scored off her second consecutive shot after her first attempt was saved by goalkeeper Catherine Langkamp.
CCNY cut the Lehman lead in half with five minutes remaining when midfielder Ingrid Rosario scored off a free kick just outside the 18-yard box. However, the Lightning held on for the victory.
