Bronx, N.Y. –  The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped a 72-51 CUNYAC encounter to visiting Baruch College at The APEX Main Gym on Friday evening.  The Lightning fall to 1-15 record and 1-5 in CUNYAC, while the Bearcats improve to 11-3 mark and 5-2 in conference play.

Lehman held its own against Baruch as it score was tied after two quarters of play (29-29).  Guard Fatomata Trawalleh and forward Nina Gill combined for 24 points in the first stanza for the Lightning.

After the intermission, the Bearcats went on a 25 to 10 run to pull away from the Lightning and did not look back on its way to victory.
