Men’s Basketball Drops CUNYAC Encounter At York-NY

Jamaica, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team dropped a CUNYAC encounter to hosts York College-NY, 66-62, on Friday evening.  The Lightning fall to 11-9 mark and 6-4 in CUNYAC, while the Cardinals improve to 7-13 record and 3-7 in conference play.
 
After trailing by two points at the intermission (32-30), Lehman was able to come back and had a 56-55 lead with 2:46 remaining in the second stanza.  However, York-NY went on an 11 to 6 run to close out the game and post the victory.
 
Isaiah Geathers paced the Lightning with 16 points and six rebounds, while Gian Batista added 14 points and six boards.
 
Lehman returns to The APEX next Tuesday when it welcomes Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC encounter set for 7 pm.
