New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team fell by a score of 87-51 to hosts Baruch College in a CUNYAC encounter held at ARC Arena on Saturday. The Lightning drop to 1-23 record and 1-12 in CUNYAC, while the Bearcats improve to 14-9 mark and 8-6 in conference play.
Baruch jumped out to a 28-8 lead after the first period and never trailed while leading by as many as 41 points.
Guard
Fatomata Trawalleh paced Lehman's offense with 26 points, while forward
Eriadna Vasquez added 12 points and eight rebounds. Forward
Valeria Rojas Alingue also had her first collegiate 'double-double' as she notched a Lightning best 10 points along with 15 boards.
Lehman concludes the regular season next Tuesday when it takes on CUNYAC rival CCNY in its home finale at The APEX Main Gym.
