Reading, PA – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference matches at the Alvernia College Tr-Match this afternoon.  Lehman fell 3-0 to Eastern Mennonite and by the identical score to host Alvernia.
 
Against the Eastern Mennonite, the Lightning dropped set scores of 25-24, 25-12 and 25-19.  While against Alvernia the scores were 25-5, 25-10 and 25-6.
 
 
Against the Royals in the first match, Dyvon Webb led the way for Lehman with five kills while Amari Blake and Peter Veljovic added four and three respectively.  Mentor Mahmuti was credited with 10 assists and Veljovic added six digs.    In the nightcap against Alvernia, Veljovic paced Lehman with four kills and 10 digs while Mahmuti recorded five assists.
 
The Lightning (5-12) return home on Tuesday night to battle another Pennsylvania school as the Neumann University Knights invade the APEX.  Game is slated for 7 PM.
