Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College men's athletic teams will be in action on Tuesday as the basketball side will visit Baruch College in semifinals of the CUNYAC Championships at Arc Arena in lower Manhattan, while the volleyball squad hosts Neumann University in a non-conference match-up at The APEX Main Gym.

The third seeded Lightning hoopsters (16-10) advanced to the postseason semis after a 97-65 home victory against sixth seeded Medgar Evers College over the weekend, during the CUNYAC opening round at The APEX.  Lehman was led by guard Tommy Batista, who scored 21 points, dished out eight assists and had three steals, while forward Isaiah Geathers added 20 points with eight rebounds and eight assists.  Geathers efforts also earned him CUNYAC Player of the Game honors.

The Lightning will take on the #2 seeded Baruch Bearcats on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.  Both teams have split the head-to-head series this season with each squad winning at its home court.  Fans can also follow all the basketball action on Tuesday online via live stats and live stream:
