Women’s Basketball Fall To Staten Island

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped an 84-32 home game against former CUNYAC member College of Staten Island (CSI) at The APEX Main Gym on Friday evening.  The Lightning fall to 1-21 record, while the Dolphins improve to 14-8.

A reduced Lehman squad held strong and trailed 25-10 after the first quarter.  However, the Dolphins went on a 12 to 4 run to take a 37-14 lead at the intermission and pulled away further in the second half for the victory.

Guard Fatomata Trawalleh and forward Eriadna Vasquez scored 14 points each for the Lightning.

Lehman returns to conference action next Monday (February 10th) when it visits Hunter College at 5 pm.
