New York, NY – The Lehman College men's volleyball dropped a three set match to Hunter by scores of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-14.
 
Peter Veljovic led the Lightning with three kills while Mentor Mahmuti added a pair of kills.  Amari Blake was credited with two blocks.  Mahmuti was also credited with five assists while Christian Agudo added a team high five digs. 
 
The Hawks jumped out to leads in each of the first two sets cruising to victory.  In the third set, the Lightning scored the first four points of the set but could not hold on.  The Hawks battled back tying the game at 5 and took the lead for good at 8-7 en route to victory.
 
The Lightning will take the week off before returning to action to face Concordia (WI) on Wednesday, March 18.  First serve is scheduled for 5 PM.
