Box Score Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball posted its second consecutive victory against a Skyline Conference opponent (fifth overall since previous season) as it defeated hosts St. Joseph's College-NY, 69-45, on Saturday at The Hill Center. The Lightning improve to 3-1 overall ledger this season, while the Bears fall to 0-4 mark.
After holding an eight-point lead in the intermission, Lehman went on a 35 to 19 run in the second stanza while limiting St. Joseph's-NY to just 29 percent shooting from the field and 43% from free-throw line to pull away for the 29-point victory.
Gian Batista led the Lightning offense with a 'double-double' - 25 points and 14 rebounds, while dishing out six assists.
Mo Idrissou added 17 points with seven boards, while
Marquese Johnson had eight points and five rebounds for Lehman.
The Lightning return to action on Monday, November 29
th, when they face-off against Pratt Institute at 7 pm ET.
