Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team, with only 10 available players, posted its victory since Fall of 2019 after defeating visiting Purchase College, 1-0, in a non-conference game, on Wednesday evening at South Field. The Lightning improve to 1-1 record, while the Panthers drop to 0-1.

A back-and-forth attacking encounter that finished with 25 total shots (Lehman-11; Purchase-14) with each side having eight shots on target.
Lightning goalkeeper Rebecca made eight saves to earn her 18
th career shutout.
Lehman continues its home stand next Wednesday when it greets St. Joseph's College-LI in a non-conference encounter at South Field with kickoff slated for 5 pm ET.
