Jamaica, N.Y. – Outside hitter
Daria Hernandez had nine kills and digs to pace the Lehman College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory (25-18, 18-25, 25-14, 25-12) against hosts York College-NY in a CUNYAC encounter on Tuesday evening at York Gymnasium. The Lightning improve to 5-12 overall record and 2-4 in CUNYAC play, while the Cardinals fall to 0-15 mark and 0-6 in conference action.
After Lehman took a 2-1 lead going into the fourth set, York-NY jumped out to a 5-2 advantage. However, the Lightning went on a 23 to 7 run to win the set and the match.

Andrea Alarcon notched eight kills for Lehman while teammate
Selena Mitchell posted six kills and seven service aces. Setter
Heder Rodriguez dished out 19 assists while outside hitter
Allison Simon added six assists along with 11 digs.
The Lightning return to action next Tuesday (October 25
th) when they greet the Hawks from Hunter College at The APEX Main Gym with the first serve set for 7 pm ET.
