Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team fell by a score of 7-0 to visiting College at Old Westbury in a non-conference encounter on Monday at South Field. The Lightning drop to a 2-9 overall record, while the Panthers improve to a 6-9-1 mark.
After holding Old Westbury to a 2-0 lead going into the second half, Lehman surrendered five more goals, while being outshot 29 to 5. Three of the five shots by the Lightning were from forward Ramatoulaye Diallo as the Panthers goalkeepers needed to make one-on-one key saves.
The other highlight for Lehman was netminder
Josefina Flores who made 15 saves.
The Lightning will now compete in the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals on Saturday (October 29
th) at John Jay College.
