Women’s Soccer Lose CUNYAC Semifinal To John Jay

Box Score New York, N.Y. – Despite a career-high 27 saves by goalkeeper Ramatoulaye Diallo the Lehman College women's soccer team lost 4-0 to hosts John Jay College during CUNYAC Championship Semifinals at Randall's Island Park on Saturday afternoon.  The Lightning fall to 2-10 overall record, while the Bloodhounds improve to 11-2-2 mark.

Lehman netminder and defense held John Jay off the score sheet for most of the first half until the 42nd minute-mark when forward Mikayla Schoch broke the deadlock.

Midfielder Kayla Kelly scored twice in the second half, while teammate Jillian Golden added another via penalty kick for the Bloodhounds' victory.

The Lightning will close out the regular season next Tuesday (November 1st) when they hosts Yeshiva University in a non-conference encounter at South Field with kickoff set for 5 pm ET.
