New York, N.Y. – A perfect 3-0 in CUNYAC play is the Lehman College men's soccer team after defeating hosts Hunter College, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island.  The Lightning also improve to a 5-3-1 overall record, while the Hawks fall to 5-6 mark and 2-1 in CUNYAC.
 
Originally scheduled to take place at Lehman's South Field however pitch seemed unplayable due to the weather in the recent days therefore the encounter was switched for Randall's Island.
 
Midfielder Bright Takyi had the only goal of the match in the 34^th minute-mark off an assist from defender Kevin Umanzor, while Lightning goalkeeper Demiraldo Grunasi had four saves for the shutout victory.
 
The result extends Lehman's winning streak in CUNYAC regular season play to nine overall games. The Lightning will look to continue the skid on Saturday (October 8^th) when they hosts conference rival York College-NY at South Field with kick off set for 1 pm ET.
