Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team fell by a score of 7-1 against Pratt Institute in a non-conference encounter at South Field, with the Lightning as the away team, on Friday. Lehman drop to a 0-5 overall record, while Pratt improves to a 6-3 mark.
Forward Katherine Thomsen led the offense for Pratt with five goals, while teammates Kaila Rodriguez and Siena Sujitno each added a tally.
The highlight for the Lightning was defender
Nancy Ordaz Tepanecatl who scored via penalty kick in the 70
th minute. Also, Lehman goalkeeper
Josefina Flores had 11 saves.
The Lightning are back in action on Monday (October 10
th) when they welcome the York College-NY Cardinals in a non-conference match-up at South Field with kickoff set for 1 pm ET.
